They saved me a lot of moolah. My car wouldn't start. I tried the usual suspects, battery, gas, sparkplugs. Not it, had to take it in. Had it towed to RJ Shore on a tip from the tow truck driver. My car needed a new computer, they spent 2 days finding me a used one for $180 instead of $700, total repair savings, over $500. They didn't call me before they did the repair, so if that's important to you, be vigilant with keeping in touch with them. But I am willing to forgive that since all I care about is having my car fixed properly at as low cost, and that is what I got.
Thanks for the good review! I would like to mention that repairing vehicles before the customer has approved the work it not a standard practice of ours at RJ Shore Automotive. However, this situation was very unique. There was no way in knowing if the used computer could be programmed to your vehicle so before we sold you on that we needed to make sure it was actually going to repair the vehicle. If it didn't work we wouldn't have charged you for the 'trial and error' and then we could have moved on to sell you a re-manufactured or brand new computer. If you had decided that the inexpensive repair we did was something you wanted to decline, than we could have easily reverted your vehicle back to it's original computer. I am very happy that we were able to deliver your vehicle back to you within a reasonable time frame and at a very fair price. We hope to see you again in the future!
